Ohio Enacts OT Compact
Ohio Governor Mike DeWine has signed Senate Bill 7, making Ohio the second state to join the Occupational Therapy Licensure Compact.
The OT Compact will allow licensed occupational therapists and occupational therapy assistants to practice in any other member state by via a ‘privilege to practice’ which can be obtained in a matter of minutes, as opposed to a timeline of weeks or months to acquire a single-state license in another state.
The Compact will become active once enacted by 10 states.
