Virginia Enacts OT Compact

On March 18, Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam signed into law Senate Bill 1189, enacting Virginia’s membership in the Occupational Therapy Licensure Compact. The legislation becomes effective January 1, 2021. Virginia is the first state to enact the OT Compact. The OT Compact will become active once enacted by ten states and/or territories.
